The Hegazy family started its humble journey in rural Egypt, cultivating herbs, spices, seeds, and medicinal plants. Early years were about forming a deep connection with the soil, learning its rhythms, and understanding each plant’s delicate nature.
Serving Egypt
The family began supplying local Egyptian traders and herbal shops, gaining a reputation for honesty, consistency, and quality. Products became known as some of the cleanest and most trustworthy in the market.
Expanding the Craft
With production increasing, we established a dedicated area for receiving, drying, preparing, and storing our crops. Traditional drying yards evolved into organised facilities designed to protect natural oils, colour, and aroma.
Egypt to the World
After gaining strong local roots, we took our first steps toward the global market. Egy Herbal began exporting herbs and seeds to international customers. Some early customers have remained with us for over 20 years.
The First Factory
We purchased our first factory in Kom Oshim, Fayoum, equipped with a full leaves-processing and sieving line from Cimbria Heid Company. Traditional farming heritage paired with advanced European technology.
Beyond Leaves
We added a complete seed-processing line from Tanis, Turkey, becoming a comprehensive supplier of both leaf and seed products, clean, uniform, and meeting international specifications.
A Leap in Quality
We acquired a Buhler Sortex machine for advanced color sorting, infrared cameras, and precision sensors. Egy Herbal transformed into a global standard producer.
Turning Desert Into Green
We reclaimed vast lands across Minya, Bahariya Oasis, and Fayoum, installed modern irrigation, GPS-guided farming, and sustainable cultivation. Over 800 hectares of thriving green farms now guarantee consistent and traceable raw materials.
The Second Factory
Our second factory in Kom Oshim equipped with modern production lines, metal detection, microbiological lab, and advanced sieving & cleaning. Ensuring quality at scale from farm to product.
